THE OBSTACLES:
Factors that will almost certainly hamper the team's progression through Eastern Europe, The Middle East and Asia are:
Bad roads.
Very bad roads.
And once the team reaches Mongolia it faces the problem of no roads whatsoever, navigating only by the stars, mountains and the occasional rotting cattle carcass.
Corrupt border officials.
Mechanical problems.
And these problems will only increase in frequency as the quality of fuel and roads deteriorates the further east we travel.
Armed bandits on camels. Baking hot deserts with no form of civilisation around for hundreds of miles.

The mighty steed!.

Suzuki Vitara 1.6 16 valve 1994.

This vehicle will I hope raise more than the $1000 required in Mongolia.
